LegalRefund policy
Effective June 19, 2026. This policy explains when chiropractor subscribers on ChiroBooking may request a refund, how the process works, and your rights under applicable law.
Who this policy applies to
- This refund policy applies to chiropractor and clinic accounts that subscribe to a paid ChiroBooking plan (Basic at $30/month or Pro at $50/month).
- ChiroBooking is free for patients. Patients do not pay ChiroBooking for searching, browsing, booking, cancelling, or rescheduling appointments, so this refund policy does not apply to patients. Any fees charged by a chiropractor for clinical treatment are set and collected by the clinic directly — ChiroBooking has no involvement in those fees.
Subscription billing and Paddle
- Chiropractor subscriptions are billed and processed by Paddle (paddle.com), who act as ChiroBooking's Merchant of Record. When you subscribe, you are purchasing through Paddle as the legal seller of record. Refunds are issued by Paddle on ChiroBooking's behalf and will be returned to the original payment method used at checkout. Processing times are subject to your card issuer, typically 5–10 business days.
Our refund commitment — 14-day issue window
- We stand behind ChiroBooking. If you experience significant bugs, errors, or failures in our platform that prevent you from using the service as described and we are unable to resolve the issue within a reasonable time, you may request a refund of the subscription amount you paid.
- Your refund request is submitted within 14 days of your account's first subscription payment (i.e. within the first 14 days of your paid plan).
- The issue is caused by a malfunction, bug, or error in ChiroBooking's platform — not by a third-party service, your own equipment, internet connection, or user error.
- You have contacted us to report the issue and given us a reasonable opportunity to resolve it.
- The issue materially prevents you from using core features of the plan you subscribed to.
- Refund requests submitted after 14 days from your first subscription payment are outside this window and are not eligible under this policy, except where required by applicable law (see "Your rights under consumer law" below).
What is not covered
- Change of mind — deciding you no longer want the service, finding a cheaper alternative, or not using ChiroBooking after subscribing does not entitle you to a refund.
- Partial months — we do not offer pro-rata refunds for unused days within a billing period on cancellation.
- Issues caused outside our platform — disruptions caused by your internet connection, your device, your email provider, or third-party services integrated with your account.
- Requests after 14 days — refund requests outside the 14-day issue window, except where required by law.
- Misuse or policy violations — accounts suspended or terminated for breach of our Terms of Service are not eligible for refunds.
How to request a refund
- Email us at support@chirobooking.online with the subject line: Refund Request — [your clinic name].
- Include your registered email address, the date you subscribed, a description of the issue you experienced, and any screenshots or error messages if available.
- We will acknowledge your request within 2 business days and review it against the eligibility criteria above.
- If your request qualifies, we will process the refund through Paddle and you will receive confirmation by email.
- If your request does not qualify under this policy but you believe you have rights under applicable consumer law, we will still consider your request on its merits and respond accordingly.
- We aim to resolve all refund requests fairly and promptly.
Your rights under consumer law
- Australian Consumer Law (ACL) — Australia. If you are in Australia, you have rights under the Australian Consumer Law that exist independently of this policy and cannot be excluded. The ACL requires that services meet consumer guarantees including that they are rendered with due care and skill and are fit for the purpose for which they are supplied.
- If ChiroBooking fails to meet a consumer guarantee and the failure is a major failure (for example, the service is so fundamentally broken that you would not have subscribed had you known, or it cannot be fixed within a reasonable time), you are entitled to cancel the service and obtain a refund of the unused portion, or claim compensation for the difference in value.
- If the failure is a minor failure that can be remedied, we will fix it within a reasonable time. If we fail to do so, you may then request a refund.
- This policy does not limit or exclude your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in this policy should be read as suggesting you have no rights where ChiroBooking fails to meet statutory consumer guarantees.
- New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 — New Zealand. If you are in New Zealand and subscribed to ChiroBooking for personal or household use (not business use), you may have rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993. If you subscribed primarily for business use, the Consumer Guarantees Act may not apply, though our policy commitment above still applies within the 14-day window.
- Other jurisdictions — United States and elsewhere. If you are in the United States or another country, applicable local consumer protection laws may give you additional rights. We will always aim to resolve disputes fairly and in accordance with applicable law.
Subscription cancellation
- You may cancel your ChiroBooking subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting us at support@chirobooking.online. Cancellation stops future renewals. Your access to the paid features continues until the end of the current billing period already paid for. Cancellation alone (without a qualifying issue under this policy) does not entitle you to a refund of the current period's charge.
Changes to this policy
- We may update this refund policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated effective date. Your rights under applicable consumer law are not affected by any changes to this policy.
